About the founder
CA Sadiqali Bhojani
Founder & Managing Partner
SMB Accountants is founded and led by CA Sadiqali Bhojani, B.Com., F.C.A. (ICAI), a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1989, with more than 37 years of professional experience, including 19 years in the United Arab Emirates.
Prior to establishing his own practice, he held senior managerial positions with PKF UAE, a member firm of PKF International, specialising in Offshore & Free Zone Advisory, Internal Audit, Corporate Compliance and Business Advisory. Earlier, he practised independently in India for more than 18 years as proprietor of S. M. Bhojani & Co., Chartered Accountants.
His professional experience covers Audit & Assurance, Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, UAE Corporate Tax and VAT, Company Formation, Corporate Restructuring, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Investment & Management Consultancy, ERP Systems and Strategic Business Advisory.
His experience includes serving multinational companies, SMEs, family businesses and startups, heading Internal Audit for a diversified UAE business group, conducting statutory bank audits of 59 branches of nationalised banks in India, and advising foreign investors on UAE business establishment, tax compliance and corporate governance.
Through its association with Acuity Infotech FZCO, SMB Accountants also has access to strong expertise in ERP development, business automation and technology-enabled business solutions.
